Musk is a secretion from the preputial gland of the Asian musk deer. A long time ago, men discovered that it gives off a specific smell during the heat. Later, they found that the fragrance came from the liquid contained in the preputial gland of the animal and decided to extract it.
The male sex very quickly adopted this substance considering that the bestial smell is synonymous with virility.
