Application on the whole head If:
You have never colored your hair or you want to change your current hair color to a darker shade.
1. Prepare:
Put on gloves. Unscrew the tip of the Dark and Lovely Cream developer applicator cap. Remove the cap from the applicator bottle. Pour the entire contents of the Dark and Lovely permanent coloring bottle into the Dark and Lovely cream developer applicator bottle. Replace the applicator cap securely. Place your gloved finger on the open tip. Point away from your face and shake thoroughly until the color mix is completely consistent. Never leave the tip of the applicator bottle unopened after mixing. The container may burst. For the light golden blonde and the bright blonde, see the special instructions inside the packaging.
2. Apply:
Dry unwashed hair in 4 sections and clip it with plastic clips if the hair is long. Apply the color mixture. Gently squeeze the applicator bottle to apply the color mixture starting with the hairline at the back; then continue upwards until the hair roots and the entire hair line are completely covered. For hair with resistant gray, apply first to the gray areas. With gloved hands, gently smooth the mixture of colors to the ends for uniform distribution, making sure that each strand is covered. Do not rub the scalp. If a mixture of colors gets on the skin, simply wipe with a towel. Do not keep any unused color mix. The container can burst.
3. Calendar:
After finishing the application, treat for 20 minutes on relaxed hair or 30 minutes on natural hair (hair without any prior chemical treatment).
4. Rinsing:
When the treatment time is up, add a little warm water to your hair and lather the color mixture. Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. If the color mixture gets into your eyes, rinse quickly with water. After rinsing, pat dry with a towel.
5. Condition:
Apply enough Dark and Lovely nourishing conditioner to saturate the hair. Massage through the hair. Leave on hair for 3 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Keep Dark and Lovely nourishing skin conditioner for multiple applications.

Although Fade Resist is formulated to deliver vibrant, long-lasting color, results may vary depending on your initial hair color and any chemicals already present, including henna. Henna is known to provide a natural tint and may react differently to chemicals found in hair dyes.
Here's how you can perform a wick test:
1/Prepare a small quantity of color mixture according to the instructions.
2/Apply the mixture to a small, discreet section of hair, preferably at the back of your head.
3/Follow the application, treatment and rinsing process as described in the instructions.
4/Evaluate the result to see how the color blends with your existing henna.
