Nikura - Ginger Essential Oil (Chinese) 10ml

Chinese ginger essential oil is extracted from the root of the ginger grass by steam distillation. An oil well known for its odor and therapeutic properties, ginger essential oil has a warm, sweet and slightly spicy fragrance. Its aroma is stimulating and powerful and as such in the aromatherapy field is known as the oil of empowerment.

Ginger essential oil is well known to aid digestion, aid breathing and as a natural antiseptic agent.

Chinese ginger has a higher content of Zingiberene than its Indian sister oil Ginger. It is the compound of Zingiberene which gives Ginger its distinct fragrance in addition to being a natural antioxidant.

Ginger can irritate sensitive skin and is photo-toxic. Direct exposure to the sun should be avoided after application.
